In September 2025, I appeared on Great Day SA to promote Season 3 of Painting in the Plaza. This 9-part series brings together art, music, and storytelling to explore Black history in music.
Painting in the Plaza - Season 1
The first season of Painting in the Plaza was my introduction to leading a painting session. This season, I hosted 4 events in La Villita's Historic Arts District.
2023-2024
Painting in the Plaza - Season 2:
"Community & Belonging"
Season 2's theme focused on community and belonging. Each image in the 4-Part activation was child-like, yet imperative to the series's story, examining Support, Connection, Collaboration, and Legacy.
2024-2025
Painting in the Plaza - Season 3:
"Music Genres"
This season is currently underway! This 9-part series kicked off by highlighting music genres and their roots in Black history. The series uses art, music, and storytelling to engage audiences and ignite imagination.
