What I do
Hi, I'm Tia Bailey, the founder of Art & Amp.
I'm passionate about curating innovative experiences that celebrate Black history and culture through creativity, conversation, and community engagement. I've partnered with museums, cultural institutions, and brands that want to deepen their local impact through identity-based activations. I merge painting, music, and storytelling to bring history to life in a way that is engaging, meaningful, and accessible for audiences of all ages. ​
Who I am
Chantia “Tia” Bailey is a San Antonio–based artist and the founder of Art & Amp, a creative brand rooted in community, storytelling, and the celebration of Black culture. Growing up in Detroit, Tia expressed her creativity through dance, music, and poetry. Her love for the arts was further expanded through painting and were inspired by her time living in Chicago. After launching Art & Amp in 2022, Tia began creating commisioned artwork and hosting commiunity art experiences. Her purpose is simple: create art that connects people to each other and to the stories they share.
